The Darkness Beckons, Third Edition
Probably the definitive account of cave diving world wide, at this moment. From historical background, to accounts of recent technical developments, to stories that set your teeth on edge (the Plura River Cave tragedy and the most recent pushing dive in Pozu Azul among others), Martyn Farr's book has lots of food for thought. Without being either a training manual or a technical guide, there is nonetheless much useful information in here.
Soft cover, 416 pages. More than 250 digitally remastered photographs, many in colour, and also copious hand-drawn explanatory diagrams.
Author Martyn Farr, published by Vertebrate Publishing.
