Welsh Sump Index

Published by the Cave Diving Group in 2006, the book comprises 100 pages of site descriptions and dive reports in two classic - and potentially very extendable - British caving areas, South Wales and the Forest of Dean. Best used in conjunction with the local caving guide, the Sump Index has entries for many sites in the area including classics like the Ogof Ffynnon Ddu, Porth yr Ogof, and Pwll y Cwm. There are also surveys to aid the potential explorer. The format is that of a sump description for the major sites, as well as a historical synopsis of the original exploration using the dive reports. Edited by Dr Duncan Price.
