Petzl Coeur Pulse 8mm
Temporary 8mm diameter anchor, combining the capacious Coeur hanger plate (alloy) with a stainless quick-place 8mm bolt.
Note that this is not a self-drilling anchor! this is a piece of equipment most useful where reducing bulk and weight are at a premium, and where large amounts of aid climbing are expected. Classic occasions would be remote expeditions where the walk-in is long, or flights to the area are necessary (and cheap / nasty through bolts cannot be obtained locally); also for climbing or reconnaissance trips beyond sumps where buoyancy must be managed carefully.
Drill requirements are the same as for placing classic M8 through bolts, and the Coeur Pulse teams well with the Raumer M8XL through bolt for intermediate belays and standing rigging.
Given unit weight 45g. Pull-out strength *in concrete* 12 kN. Required drilling depth 5cm.
