Neoprene Cuffs
£8.00

Neoprene Cuffs

Warmbac neoprene cuffs. An effective way to keep hands warm in wet sections of cave. Close fitting and long enough to form a seal over the cuffs of an oversuit, these come into their own in wet crawls and pitches. The radial artery is closest to the surface at the wrist, so reducing heat loss here is a good way to feel more comfortable. Because the neoprene cuffs are not attached, they can be taken off in sections of drier passage, or when constant rubbing of the neoprene on bare skin could become uncomfortable, such as long, drier pitches.
Warmbac LONG Neoprene Crawling Cuffs
£12.00

Warmbac LONG Neoprene Crawling Cuffs

Long flexible neoprene cuffs. Flexible and warm 2.5mm neoprene covers from wrist to just below the elbow. Protects oversuits and forearms alike from damage in gnarly caves, but does not interfere with arm movement. They also stay in place much more reliably than elbow pads. Highly recommended for use with lighter weight or PVC oversuits.
Warmbac Warm Expedition

Warmbac Warm Expedition

Warmbac's oversuit for trips where ordinary caving gear is too warm. This kit provides a reasonable level of protection to underwear and skin, from scrapes and abrasion. In the context of areas where it is most likely to be used, it is often a good idea to protect the skin to avoid cuts etc 'going bad'. The key point is the fabric, which is a combination of 4oz nylon on the main areas, with 7oz nylon to protect high wear points. This is a very lightweight suit which will not last long in areas of high abrasion! However, it dries much more quickly, and is much lighter than a standard cotton overall. In the tropics its resistance to rot is a significant benefit too. Standard Warmbac cut, with the standard Warmbac pocket arrangement.
Warmbac Centre Suit

Warmbac Centre Suit

Warmbac Centre suit. A Starless River special. The lower section is the heavy duty 9oz Cordura, while the upper section is a lighter and more flexible 7oz nylon. Made of four main panels, and with the seam over the backside reinforced with nylon tape for abrasion resistance. Solid 44mm Velcro closure, for easy user replacement on expeditions or for outdoor centre use. Plain ended cuffs, in order to allow sleeves to be rolled up in warmer conditions. Very practical small pocket on the upper left arm. Velcro flap closure, about big enough for a balaclava, medication, or small first aid kit. A good digging suit, or for novice use, or for anyone who expects a lot of 'contact' caving. Available in normal, or broad fit (please specify), in sizes Small to Extra Large. Note that this is a pretty generous fit in all cases!

A V Taka Jacket

Warmbac Digger Oversuit

A new design of solid Cordura oversuit made by Warmbac for Starless River. A durable garment complete with neoprene cuffs, high neoprene collar and three pockets. One pocket is internal, and two NEW DESIGN flat patch pockets for lower profile, one on each upper arm. All pockets have velcro closure. The Warmbac Starless Digger oversuit is probably most suitable for sustained contact trips and digging, or for working in places where very sharp rock, bang debris, or extreme grittiness is an issue. The suit is stitched solidly; there is strong tape reinforcement on the rear seam; closure is by solid (and easily replaceable) 40mm velcro. Personally, I have used this suit in trips to the further reaches of DyO and will be taking it places like Charterhouse, Reads cavern and Upper Flood, where flexibility is less of an issue than the ability to withstand significant abuse! Sizes as per the standard Warmbac oversuit range.
Meander Criou PVC

Meander Criou PVC

Newly re-introduced by Meander Pro, the Criou is a welded-seam PVC oversuit best suited for muddy or wet and windy locations. For those who remember the old Meander Criou, this suit is very similar (sizes pretty much identical) although the fabric is marginally stiffer. The fabric is wind proof, and waterproof when new although the front closure allows seepage on wet pitches, as do hood and cuffs. If water ingress is a serious issue then the Warmbac neoprene cuffs may be useful. The suit features a Velcro front closure, single Velcro closed external chest pocket, Velcro closure cuffs, and a light under-helmet hood which fits into the collar. We stock the Criou in traditional yellow, but we can order in suits in red, please contact us to arrange this. To work out your size (apart from visiting the mobile shop)you need three figures: A. height in cm B. weight in kg C. measurement from lowest point of crotch to base of throat Size 1B: 165 - 175cm, 65 - 75kg, 70cm Size 2A: 175 - 182cm; 70...

A V Titan Woman

Aventure Verticale Confort oversuit, woman's. Waterproof, flexible and comfortable oversuit in a 'female' cut. Wide velcro front opening, two external pockets in chest, double lined knees, seat and forearms. Velcro closure cuffs and microfleece inside the collar for caving luxury. The fixed hood, which rolls up inside the collar, is actually significantly waterproof! The same as the male suit, except in cut and size. Note that XL female is very different to XL male! In fact, male M is a similar size to female XL... Gives a useful alternative fit for those for whom the 'Mens' suit is not the best cut; this suit is smaller across the shoulders, and larger across the hips and thighs. This cut facilitates movement, and does so without generating huge amounts of excess fabric on most people. Sizes M (i.e. UK size 8) - XXL (UK size 14), colours red or blue (black reinforcement on both "Titan" is the long-backed version of this suit and "Holloch" the regular version.
