These are mainly practical guides to finding and descending caves. Some also have an element of exploration history, as in the Swildons book. Surveys are posted folded, and may be posted separately to any larger order, to keep them safe.

Best used in conjunction with the local caving guide, the Sump Index has entries for many sites in the area including classics like the Ogof Ffynnon Ddu, Porth yr Ogof, and Pwll y Cwm. There are also surveys to aid the potential explorer. The format is that of a sump description for the major sites, as well as a historical synopsis of the original exploration using the dive reports. Edited by Dr Duncan Price.
