Etche Canyon Boot

The Etche Canyon is included here as it has been found to be suitable for drysuit diving in particular. The broad fit makes them easy to put on with bulky footwear, and the low cut with tight lacing allows good ankle mobility combined with lower drag than wellies worn over-sized. Their adjustability also means that they are entirely appropriate for caving before or after sumps, where the drysuit itself may not be worn. They are much more rugged and cope with hard use much better than most diving-specific booties.

Originally for canyoning but also suitable for cave based activities, these are a rugged set of footwear built to the same specification as the Etche wellies, but with four lace holes, and a slit and reinforced achilles, with an overall height of just under eight inches.

As with the boots, they have a very grippy tread, and no midsole. There is no footplate or steel toecap, but protection is good especially across the toe box.
